Workflow Wins, Redirect Control, and a Smoother Experience Across the Board
June’s release focused on empowering editors and developers with stronger workflow visibility, improved redirect management, and cleaner UX all around. From long‑requested bulk actions to subtle UI updates, this update is about precision, polish, and performance.
Features
Parsley Code Samples Tab – Give your team clearer, ready‑to‑copy examples when building dynamic Blocks. The new Parsley tab makes it easier to grab syntax without digging through docs (Issues: 3590).
Workflow Status in Content – Visualize and manage the status of content items directly from the Content app—know what’s published, in review, or ready at a glance (Issue: 3411).
Filter Input Clear Buttons – Quickly reset filters with a single click—no more manual deletions (Issues: 3523, 3562).
Smarter Redirect Creation – When you update a URL path, Zesty auto‑suggests redirects to preserve traffic. Plus you can bulk‑delete old redirects and create incoming redirects directly from content items. Revamped redirect creation improves error messaging and sorting (Issues: 3444, 3522, 3447, 3526, 3514, 3441, 3497).
Enhancements
Block Variant Enhancements – Scroll position is preserved when editing variants, and a refreshed locked code dialog improves usability (Issues: 3572, 3573).
Content App Updates – Adds bulk publish/delete support for preview items, marks required fields with an asterisk, provides inline error messaging for duplicate references, improves skeleton loaders, updates the “Create Item” and “Schedule Publish” modals, cleans up AI‑generated metadata wording, and persists global block announcements (Issues: 3545, 3559, 3541, 3460, 3525, 3480, 3561, 3563).
Redirects Revamp – CSV/XML import errors are clearly flagged, new sort options (date, incoming path, HTTP code, etc.) are available, and bulk creation tools and help text are improved (Issues:
3504
,3496
,3493
).Global UI Cleanup – Refreshes the “No Access,” “No Fields,” and “Cannot Access” screens; fixes the launchpad summary page layout; improves activity log formatting; updates the redirects app icon; updates MUI and MUI X dependencies; and revamps the no‑instance‑permission screen (Issues:
3473
,3465
,3587
,3588
,3520
,3491
,3449
,3478
).
Fixes
Workflow Bugs Squashed – Switching between versions no longer fires duplicate API requests; “Publish Related Items” doesn’t auto‑recheck unexpectedly; and workflow status form updates are stabilized (Issues: #3549, #3567, #3498, #3508, #3532).
Content Consistency – Fixes stale related field values; resolves issues with required fields and row selection; ensures pinned columns persist in multi‑page tables; and permanently removes deleted items from cache (Issues: #3602, #3608, #3499, #3555, #3542, #3458, #3495, #3601).
UI & Layout Fixes – Addresses layout bugs in Code App, GA Connect, and various modals; prevents the “No Fields” screen from flashing; improves error handling in block preview; resolves search issues and sorting on null values; fixes a build issue with the “Cannot Access URL” screen revamp; and resolves overflow in Block DUO mode and pluralization in bulk dialogues (Issues: #3512, #3516, #3517, #3513, #3501, #3484, #3487, #3481, #3464, #3383, #3454).
What This Means for You
You’ll spend less time clicking around and more time moving forward. Editors get a faster, clearer experience with fewer distractions. Developers get more reliable behavior when handling redirects, relationships, and custom fields. We’re continuing to refine the details while building toward even bigger things in July. If you haven’t yet, check out last month’s Starter Blocks and Code App revamp too—those features pair beautifully with June’s improvements.
