“I started building websites as a consultant back in 2001, when I was 17. Over the last two decades I’ve witnessed the evolution from simple, single‑owner websites to complex, multi‑department digital experiences. We’ve experimented with every iteration of content management, from hand‑coded sites to fully headless systems.

Recently our team has been working on proprietary AI page building. What we have created in our new agentic page creator cuts enterprise workflows down from 32 hours to one — with precision.  That's a staggering 3,100% increase in efficiency, giving you a massive leap in content velocity and making your enterprise workflows faster than ever.

What used to take a plan, wireframe, design, development, asset creation and QA testing now happens in an hour with amazing results. With that, we felt the brand Zesty.io needed to transition from the old history of website and content building into the new future, which is Content.One.”

–  Randy Apuzzo, CEO & Founder

From niche innovation to enterprise leadership

When we launched Zesty.io years ago, the goal was simple: make it easier for businesses to manage websites with less infrastructure management and development needs, while having marketing agility. The name captured the scrappiness and creativity of a startup disrupting an industry. Today the landscape has changed. Content management systems are now the backbone of enterprise operations. Modern CMS platforms do more than publish web pages — they store all of a company’s digital knowledge in a secure, centralized repository and provide automated workflows to ensure compliance. They unify document management, digital asset management and collaborative work for thousands of users. As the industry matured, the Zesty.io brand began to feel narrow and startup‑oriented.

“Rebranding to Content. One reflects the evolution from managing content to commanding it. Marketing and content teams now need a platform that moves at the speed of AI — where ideas turn into optimized experiences instantly. Content. One empowers enterprises to accelerate the velocity of content creation, distribution, and performance in this new era of generative intelligence.”

Our rebranding reasons extend beyond perception; it’s about creating a clearer, more distinctive identity in a growing and dynamic technology landscape. Over time, our name began overlapping with other software companies operating in entirely different domains. Zesty.ai, for instance, focuses on climate-risk analytics to help insurers predict non-weather water claims, while Zesty.co provides cloud cost-optimization tools. Though our missions and markets are distinct, customers and partners occasionally sought clarity on our affiliation –- a signal that it was time for a name that better represents our unique vision and direction.

Why Content.One

Content. One signals a new era. It conveys authority, scalability and enterprise readiness. It tells the world that all of your organization’s content lives in one unified platform — a hub where information is captured, managed, stored, preserved, delivered at scale and future-proof with GEO-readiness. Under the new name we remain committed to the same mission: to unify and simplify content management for large‑scale organizations.

Aligning with enterprise expectations

Enterprises expect more from their content platforms than basic publishing. They demand scalability, governance, integration and innovation. Our rebrand aligns our product with those expectations:

Looking ahead: AI search, MCP, and business agents

The moment LLM APIs became accessible, we saw the future and started building with AI. Zesty.io was the first CMS to do it — because we’ve always believed that content creation should be as intelligent as it is intuitive.

“Our architecture and cloud infrastructure were designed from day one with agility and scalability in mind, engineered to grow in step with emerging technologies like AI. Less than three years ago, generative AI was unknown to most people and businesses. Yet, more than a decade ago, Zesty’s data architecture was established to support exactly this kind of innovation.

While AI disrupted many, forcing companies back to the drawing board, Zesty didn’t need to rebuild. We gracefully stepped into this new era, leveraging our existing data structure to power AI-driven efficiency and productivity. When we said our technology was built for scalability and future-proof adoption, we meant it. Our brand is evolving, but our commitment to technological excellence remains steadfast.”

-  Gisele Blair, VP of Customer Success

“Beyond generative capability. AI presents a world of action on your behalf. With deep data discovery, integrated expert knowledge, multiple vendors brought together with MCP, insight and value are moments away. Content. One represents a future where all of these are weaved together in a seamless experience.”

-  Stuart Runyan, CTO

The future of content management is not just about storing and publishing; it’s about using AI to understand, surface and act on information. Search within enterprise systems is evolving into conversational queries powered by AI. Business agents will be able to fetch data from different systems, answer questions and even execute tasks. Content. One’s unified data model and AI foundations position us to lead in this space. As AI tools become more capable of automatically identifying under‑performing pages and recommending improvements, enterprises will need a platform that can adapt and grow with them.

What this means for you

For our existing customers, nothing changes about how you use our product today. Your same team, same leadership and same commitment to excellence remain.

Over the course of 2026, you’ll see updates to our user interface, documentation, and communications reflecting the Content. One brand - along with new AI-powered capabilities designed to make content management faster, smarter, and more intuitive. Internally, our agentic page building tools have already shown remarkable results in testing - cutting enterprise workflows from 32 hours to 1. These early outcomes are shaping how we bring the next generation of Content. One features to life.

For prospective customers evaluating enterprise content platforms, our rebrand underscores our commitment to scalability, compliance and AI‑driven innovation.

Thank you for trusting us with your digital presence. We’re excited to enter this new chapter and to continue building the future of content together.
